Bruce Newsome, PhD
Lead
Instructional Designer
Bruce is a policy analyst specializing in human sciences
(principally behavior, performance, development, training, and management) and international security (principally terrorism,
peace operations, and military science). He has held teaching positions at the Wharton School and the University of Reading
in England, where he also led the ISISS (Instructional Simulations in the Social Sciences) project.

Matt Lewis, PhD
Instructional
Designer
Matt is a research scientist
and policy analyst with expertise in learning, decision-making, and training technologies. His
research/teaching experience includes work at Carnegie Mellon University, the Learning Research and Development Center, University
of Pittsburgh, the Oregon Center for Applied Science, and at the Open University in England. His
work also includes applications of technology to support complex learning and decision-making skills in a number of domains.

Peter Chalk, PhD
Instructor
Peter is a security analyst. He also serves as: Adjunct
Professor at the Postgraduate Naval School in Monterey, California; contractor for the Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies
(APCSS) in Honolulu and the United States Institute for Peace (USIP) in Washington DC; associate editor of Studies in Conflict
and Terrorism; and specialist correspondent for Jane’s Intelligence Review.

David Bell, PhD
Instructor
David is Professor of Marketing at the Wharton School
at the University of Pennsylvania, where he is a frequent recipient of teaching awards. His research has specialized in online
business, customer behavior, pricing, purchasing, and distribution.

Kyle Bell

Kyle Bell is a senior at the University of Pennsylvania,
majoring in International Relations .
Margaret Foster
Program
Manager, International Terrorism Simulation
Margaret Foster is a senior at the University of Pennsylvania.
She is majoring in International Relations with a focus on international security and terrorism. When not studying, she enjoys
fencing and international travel.

Gavin Hale is a senior at the University of Pennsylvania,
majoring in International Relations. His focus is on international security and terrorism.

Melina Tsui
Program
Manager, International Security for Business
Melina Tsui is a senior at the University of Pennsylvania,
majoring in International Relations with a French minor. She spent the Spring 2006 semester studying abroad at the
Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Lyon, France, and is the co-captain of the 2006 Penn Varsity field hockey team.
